Vintage Polish Posters is a poster website set up by Pete Paxton in 2012 and based in Truro, Cornwall, UK.

Since I first went to Poland 10 years ago, I’ve been interested in Polish Posters. And since then I have been collecting, researching and spreading the word about them – finally culminating in me setting up the website you see before you.

I personally have a stock of about 300 posters and collaborate with poster collectors in Poland, from whom I am able to source a large number of poster titles.

Polish posters are exceptional in design, creativity and originality. For nearly 30 years, Poland was home to the most unchained school of graphic design ever seen.
They are significant within the history of poster and graphic design and have unsurprisingly attracted international attention and admiration, with many in galleries and private collections worldwide.
This site predominantly offers film posters [but also includes some theatre, circus and propaganda].
All posters are ORIGINALS.
Condition of the posters is generally very good – with no significant defects, but contact us for exact information on individual posters.
